TEACHING TOPIC: BECOMING
Nothing is more important than following Jesus! We are continually becoming, being, remaining and developing as disciples of Jesus. “Disciple becoming” is top priority. It’s all about becoming disciples, helping other people become disciples, and continually “becoming” as disciples.
All Scripture is useful for this “disciple becoming” process.
II Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
One of the purposes of the New Testament is to assist us in the disciple becoming process.
This year at the conference we are operating on the simple yet profound premise that we are God-made and Scripture is God-breathed. We will glean insight from different sections of the New Testament as together we strive in becoming as followers of Jesus.
